Battle Report - The Hungarian Border Conflict (Turn One)

The Americans have dug in in this first turn of the battle and the Soviets have rolled forward up the road with an eye to oust them from their fox holes.

The Frogfoot flew in but didn't manage to hit anything, instead blasting a house to smithereens! Some American reserves are powering in however to support.

Looks good but how about more of a detailed bat rep?

unclejimmy

Totally!

jocke

The details of the miniatures, and also of the boards are awesome…
Give us bigger Pictures of the Frogfoot in Action… and of the incoming A10…

mrkingracoon

This looks absolutely amazing, those tanks…. just wow! cant wait to see what else is brought out next year!

unclejimmy

There are a fair amount of 15mm minis out there already. I was surprised when I had a look. However, this are quite exceptional. I have been very impressed by all the minis so far and the black-taxi jockeys are beautiful.

unclejimmy

All of those tanks look amazing! I’m starting to get tempted…

dane

is that russian aa protecting american a1’s?

krieger

Proxied, I don’t think they have any Vulcans as of yet.

unclejimmy

Short game when he rolls in…game ends in turn 1!

krieger

I was thinking of the M163 Vulcan Air Defence System, but yeah, any 28mm or bigger unit would wreck a game of Team Yankee I suppose 😛

mo3355

Russian player looks to be trying to find help among comrades that are at the other end of the room.

krieger

A more detailed Batrep would be lovely, with big sweeping red arrows and so on.

I would think advanced munitions capable weapons would be a real boon for the US, forcing the Soviets to spread out and not being able to bring everything to bear (heh) at once. A minefield to simply force the T-72s to go into bogging terrain seems like a cool option as well.

madredsquirrel

erm how deep do I dig to avoid the incoming enemy fire this fox hole just is not going to do the trick

unclejimmy

In the first picture, at the bottom, where did you get the ‘command tent’ thingy from? I love it.

I mentioned to Heather about sticking some tanks on my xmas list. She is up a ladder all covered in paint – she just gave me ‘that look’, I came back up here to hide! I wanted some soup…

rollsk1

Yeap looks great, would love some more pictures !

fireblarney

The more I see of the tables the more I like of them.

panz3ritaly

Frogfoot looks awasome…I can’t understand what a light if 4 frogfoot mean…I must field 4 of them if I choose this option? Or i must solve the attack one by one?

zetazot

Comrades on the front, know that the people of Lloydoslavia stand behind you! Repell the invaders from the motherland! Take the fight for freedom to liberate our socialist brothers in Hungary!

bitrider

Destroying or setting buildings alight would be a great game mechanic.

izeman82

the more i see and read the more jealous i am! now off to make fields and hedge rows!

panzerkaput

Looking the quick report

rael

An open field battle would be interesting…

majorswotwot

Liking those infantry sculpts

britfran45

so glad to see some Frogfoot action…..can’t wait to get my grubby little mitts on that baby!

sircaroon15

Damn it, the frogfoot finally appears and proves worthless on its first pass!

lorddraconum

Maybe they are fighting for freedom where ever there is trouble G.I.JOE lol

fjhamming

More details on bat rep would be great

roboute73

That Su25 looks awesome.

heregrim

Nice attack, too bad it didn’t work out

msheaf1

Looks like fun.

clawz

I wonder if this is one of those “can be played on 6×4, but you’ll want more for maneuvering” kind of games.
